Boats are one of the most common types of cruise vessels available
in the Maldives. They vary largely in size and facilities on offer.
Some vessels operate private charters only, and these are ideal for
family or friends. With chartering you also have the liberty of choosing
the course of travel to suit your liking. The boats can be booked
for a specific period of time, allowing you to largely dictate the
pace of travel as well.
The main advantage of Safari/Cruise vessels are that they combine the best of both worlds - the beauty of above and under the vast Maldivian seas. On these boats you can choose to go diving, or you can choose to stay behind. Either way it will be hard to find the time to be bored. If you are not an enthusiastic diver, the various visits to locally inhabited islands or desert islands and to resort islands offer a vast variety of sights, sounds and tastes to be taken in and absorbed. |
